Drai’s Weekend Recap: TIP (3/9) and Migos (3/10)

The ATL has taken over last weekend here at Drai’s Nightclub: the King of the South, TIP on Friday night; and the biggest rap group in the world, Migos for Saturday! As always we had DJ Franzen playing the hottest hits each evening alongside producer extraordinaire Amadeus on drums, and our very own Drai’s Dirty Dancers entertaining guests all weekend with their mesmerizing choreography! We saw many NFL players coming in again to party with us here during the off-season: Bengals safety George Iloka celebrating his bachelor party with fellow teammates Pacman Jones and Dre Kirkpatrick, Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant, Rams linebacker Robert Quinn, Cardinals linebacker Haason Reddick, Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson, Saints safety Chris Banjo, Lions running back Ameer Abdullah, and many more! Now onto the recap…

The KING made his return to the throne to grace the Drai’s LIVE stage once again. TIP decided to officially start the weekend off with the classic “Top Back,” followed by “Rubberband Man” to the amazement of fans across the club! Fittingly we had tables making it rain all night to go with the many Hustle Gang Music hits; it was quite the scene. “If you been with the King since day one make some noise!” Timeless hits like “Bring Em Out,” “No Mediocre” and “Swagger Like Us” were performed with the high energy TIP is always known for when on stage. “They say pretty girls like trap music,” as all the ladies atop The Cromwell are making a lot of noise going into “Let’s Get Away,” “Why You Wanna” and “Whatever You Like,” while happily reaching his hand out to the many fans on the dancefloor. TIP then shared some inspiring words to everyone at Drai’s: “I want you to look at me and see me as an example, and that you can do whatever you want to do if you set your mind to it. Stay on your grind, get off your ass, get out the house and go get it!” The place erupted in cheers as he then performed “Go Get It.” He closed the evening out with “What You Know” and “ATM,” with an epic keyboard and drum solo in the end. “Trap music for life!” You can catch TIP again at Drai’s Nightclub on Saturday, April 14.
