In 2000, 50 Cent made recordings with his friends Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo and formed the group G-Unit. They were then noticed by Dr. Dre and Eminem and promoted 50 Cent as a solo act and signed him to their record labels. His debut release Get Rich or Die Tryin’ was a massive success and put many singles on the charts like “In Da Club”. In 2005, 50 Cent came out with another album entitled Massacre which featured hits like “Candy Shop” and “Just a Lil Bit”. He also released Curtis in 2007 and Before I Self Destruct in 2009 didn’t have much success as the first two. Since then 50 Cent has also landed a few acting roles. In 2015 50 Cent released his 11th mixtape, The Kanan Tape and his newest album Street King Immortal is set to release in August 2016.
