After months of teasers and sneak peeks from celebrity social media accounts and of course 2 Chainz himself, the Versace Chain Reaction sneakers finally have a release date: Thursday, April 26. First revealed during Versace’s F/W ’18 shows, the 2 Chainz-inspired Chain Reactions will get a unique launch instead of a traditional release — it will be exclusively available only at GOAT.com/versace, versace.com, and Versace’s SoHo store and will come in a variety of different looks for men and women. Some of the shoes come in monochromatic color schemes, while others feature the iconic Versace patterns, standout animal print, pony hair detailing and more, with prices ranging from $995-$1,350. The Chain Reaction’s most obvious detail is its on-trend chunky midsole — with its attention-grabbing chain detailing — complemented with a bulky silhouette with many references to Versace’s history.
