‘Billboard’ Does Extensive Piece on Amadeus’ 5 Favorite Records He Produced

Influential music publication Billboard just did a comprehensive piece on Drai’s resident drummer and producer extraordinaire Amadeus. He speaks with Billboard on a variety topics, from how he got his start in the music industry, working for Puff Daddy, to his meeting with fellow Drai’s resident Trey Songz, who confides in Amadeus to be his music director and tour drummer. From that encounter with Trey Songz 10 years ago, Amadeus is still making an impact in the music world with some of today’s biggest acts, including another Drai’s resident and R&B superstar Chris Brown.

The article also goes into detail on his Platinum Music Group, which he’s the CEO of, and the impact they’re making to aspiring students across the world. Amadeus then breaks it down with Billboard on his five favorite records he’s worked on throughout his illustrious 17-year career:

-“Team Litty” by Fabolous, from Summertime Shootout 2

-“ESPN First Take Theme Song” by Wale & Stalley

-“Sneaky” by Trey Songz, from Trigga

-“Welcome to the Dollhouse” by Danity Kane feat. P. Diddy, from Welcome to the Dollhouse

-“My Diary” by Jim Jones, from Harlem: Diary of a Summer

From all of us at here at Drai’s, we want to congratulate Amadeus on this incredible feature and his accomplishments! You can read the full article from Billboard here.
