Drai’s Weekend Recap: Yo Gotti (2/8), Gucci Mane (2/9)

Drai’s continues to stay ahead of the curve in live entertainment on the Strip with another weekend for the books – Yo Gotti kicked it off for us on Friday, and Saturday was the highly-anticipated debut of the one and only Gucci Mane! Special guests included NFL players Von Miller, Vince Williams, Tyrann Mathieu, Maurkice and Mike Pouncey, and many more. We were also proud to host Modern Family star Ariel Winter’s 21st birthday here at Drai’s Nightclub, celebrating with her closest friends, colleagues and family for an incredible evening.

Friday saw fans and partygoers making their way to Drai’s Nightclub to experience the best in Las Vegas nightlife, and Yo Gotti delivered as always. “If you from out of town make some noise right now, hands up! Hands up!” “Sack,” “5 Star,” “They Like”… you name it, Gotti brought it to his fullest from his endless catalog of singles. “We in Vegas right now, I rep the culture. I wanna take it way back.” The Drai’s resident then brought out 2009’s “Brick” as bubbles and confetti came from above, with the crowd cheering for more as they danced and sang along. Yo Gotti made sure to personally wish happy birthday to as many lucky girls in the club as possible as he transitioned “Birthday Song” into “Rake It Up,” and for the first time on our stage performed his just-released hit “Put a Date on It” to close it out. “Thank you Drai’s, I go by the name Yo Gotti and I represent the three letters: C… M… G!”

Making his grand debut on the world-famous Drai’s LIVE stage was the legendary Gucci Mane, causing another sold out show for Saturday night! For his inaugural show, the prolific rapper looked sharp in a Dolce & Gabbana ensemble topped with some of the brightest bling you’ve ever seen to put on a lasting first impression. Fans looked on in awe as he proudly brought up his beautiful wife Keyshia Ka’oir on stage, looking glamorous in a sheen red D&G dress and ready to turn up with the crowd. “What’s happening Las Vegas! Where my day 1 Gucci fans out here?” The day 1s certainly came out to party with Guwop as he started with “Both” and “I Get the Bag.” It was only right that multiple VIP tables made it rain all night long, with nonstop bottles and celebrations happening everywhere you looked! “Listen, can we do some classic Gucci one time?” Everyone screamed as he rapped to “Bricks,” “I Think I Love Her” and more, all while Keyshia was seen dancing and ad-libbing to every word on the side of the stage. “Ayy I’m having a blast with y’all, I appreciate y’all coming out!” Gucci of course made sure to perform his latest chart-topper “Wake Up in the Sky” to much applause, then closing it out with “Wasted” and “Fresh Out.” “It’s Gucci!”
