We’ve been seeing hip-hop artists dropping longer projects as of late — Drai’s residents Chris Brown (Heartbreak on a Full Moon) and Migos (Culture II) have released massive double-disc long players, and it looks like Rae Sremmurd is up next. This breaking news comes via Pitchfork, as they recently caught super producer Mike WiLL Made-It at the Grammys red carpet. The frequent Rae collaborator and close friend disclosed their plans for this year, revealing that a three-disc album is on the way which will feature solo project from Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, as well as a new Rae Sremmurd album.
“We got the Swae Lee, Swaecation, [Slim] Jxmmi’s Jxmtroduction, and then the Rae Sremmurd side,” said Mike WiLL. Another interesting quote was that the duo’s third is still untitled, possibly dispelling the SremmLife 3 album name. While there is no set release date for these projects, Swae Lee did mention over a week ago that Swaecation will be dropping in “less than a month.” Very exciting news indeed; stay tuned for further updates on Rae Sremmurd’s next projects and be on the lookout to see them perform LIVE at Drai’s Nightclub!
