Over the past couple years, Drai’s resident Tip started an annual tradition in his hometown of Atlanta by surprising families on Christmas Eve at Walmart with free gifts. This year he was met with some technical difficulties with a flight going back to Atlanta, but that didn’t stop him from spreading the Christmas cheers for those in need. Eventually he was able to make it home, albeit later than he originally planned, but decided to switch it up a bit by surprising unsuspecting shoppers at a local Target. The King of the South took to his Instagram to share a clip of him walking inside the Target and instructing “all the single mothers” grabbing gifts for their children to meet him in the back of the store, where he payed for their items. From the heartwarming video below, he dropped $20,000 in just 30 minutes:
“I’m blessed to be able to do anything I can for those in need,” he captioned in the post. “Merry Christmas to everyone who helped me thumb through 20k in 30mins. If I missed you… I’ll catch up with you next year!!! Happy Holidays to all of you!!!!” Truly an inspiring act, Tip once again continues to give back and help those less fortunate.
