After officially announcing that his debut solo album will be coming this month, Drai’s resident and Migos leader Quavo sat down with HYPEBEAST for a photo shoot to discuss how the group’s individual roles plays into their organic success, their solo projects, securing his legacy, and much more. “We’ve always had music stocked up, each of us on our own. That’s how we always had worked, the previous Migos records. We always go work on them first and then one person would be on the song and then we just make each other do homework. So now it’s just like we completing our own songs,” he responded when asked about solo projects from Offset, Takeoff and himself, confirming one is coming from each member. When asked specifically about his upcoming debut album, Quavo states “It was just about me having all these features out and everybody assuming that I was gonna do, like, a solo career. I got too much music. I got to channel it somewhere. So dropping the solo project is a good way to do it.” Click here to read the feature in its entirety and check out his sit-down video below, courtesy of HYPEBEAST.
