Drai’s New Year’s Eve 2019 Weekend Recap: DJ Esco, Fabolous, Lil Wayne, Big Sean and Future, Hosted by Kevin Hart

Featuring the hottest live talent in music today, unmatched views of the Strip and the fireworks show, and a VIP experience like no other, there was no better place to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2019 weekend in Las Vegas than here at Drai’s Nightclub! We got it all started last Thursday with DJ Esco throwing the COOLest party on the Strip, Friday was legendary New York emcee Fabolous, Saturday saw the one and only Lil Wayne, fan-favorite Big Sean returned Sunday night, and of course Future closed it all out with a performance of a lifetime. Comedian Kevin Hart played host Sunday and Monday evening to make for an even more memorable experience to partygoers coming in from around the world, with a number of special guests joining in including YG, Nate Diaz, Zac Efron, Jason Derulo, James Harden, CeeLo Green, Pacman Jones, Alexander Wang, and many more!

And what better way to start the NYE 2019 weekend party off than our very own DJ Esco? With his high energy, good vibes, incredible mic presence and fun choreography, Esco always brings a reason to celebrate Thursday nights one of the best night clubs in Las Vegas! He started the show with “Mask Off,” “Stick Talk” and “F*ck Up Some Commas,” always getting the crowd turned up — “Las Vegas make some noise! If y’all gonna do better in 2019 than 2018 make some noise right now!” Esco and the Mask Off Mascot brought their best dance moves on stage to countless hits like “ZEZE,” “Sicko Mode,” “In My Emotions” and more, with a few accompanied by our lovely Drai’s Dirty Dancers. “I wanna do a toast, to 2018, to whatever you’re celebrating, wherever you’re from. Put your drinks up!”

Friday evening we had NYC rapper Fabolous gracing the world-famous Drai’s LIVE stage, as fans old and new came out to see the best in live nightlife entertainment on the Strip. We had quite a “Lituation” in the building as Fab started us off with the 2014 single, fittingly followed by “Ball Drop” for New Year’s Eve 2019 weekend! “Vegas make some noise for yourselves! Who’s ready for 2019?” Partygoers most certainly were ready for the New Year, cheering and singing along to hit after hit like “She Wildin,” “Doin It Well,” “My Sh*t” and more. “Hold up, anyone up in here from the West Coast make some noise! East Coast, the South, where y’all at?!” The Drai’s resident always knows how to work the crowd, making sure to shout out all the birthday people in the club as well as he performed “Say Aah.” Fabolous closed it out to classics “Throw It in the Bag” and “You Be Killin Em” to make for another successful show!

Drai’s Nightclub was the talk of the town Saturday night with the one and only Lil Wayne live in concert – the venue was sold out in no time as longtime fans and partygoers came out to see the best show the Strip had to offer, and you can feel the incredible energy from start to finish! Anticipation was at an all-time high as Wayne stepped on stage to “Mr. Carter” and “I’m Goin’ In” as screams filled the air – “Vegas make some noise for yourselves! If you ready to have a good time say ‘f*** yeah’! Where all my ladies at?!” It was then time for “Lollipop,” “Mrs. Officer” and more Weezy bangers as tables made it rain all night long, as well as Tha Carter V singles “Dedicate,” “Mona Lisa” and “Let It Fly” – “If you got that C5 put your hands up!” Lil Wayne ended this incredible set with his latest hit “Uproar” to confetti and smoke all across the building – the party kept on going well into the night.

Our NYE 2019 weekend momentum was in full force Sunday with the grand return of Big Sean, with host Kevin Hart getting the jam-packed crowd warmed up with some laughs and dancing on stage! “If y’all ready for 2019 make some noise!” Sean’s long-awaited return was met with loud cheers as he began his show with “Moves” and GOOD Music anthem “Mercy” – “I know we got a lot of dreamers in here right now! If you with your best friends make some noise! All my Capricorns make some noise!” The bottle presentations didn’t stop as people celebrated birthdays, being around close friends and family for New Year’s Eve, and everything else all night long. We had partygoers from all over and Big Sean made sure to shout out every one of them, saving the biggest crowd – California and the West Coast – for last as he performed his verse on “Big Bank.” “Hands up! One thing I’m excited for 2019 is making new music and my new album!” Fans were most definitely excited to hear this, as Kevin Hart and the legendary Dave Chappelle decided to join him up on stage – “2019 gonna be the best year, let me hear you scream!” Sean once again did it BIG as he closed it out with “IDFWU” into “Bounce Back,” even hanging out on stage afterwards with Kevin and Dave having a blast and entertaining the crowd!

There was truly no better place to be in Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve than here at Drai’s Nightclub – our rooftop venue provided perfect views of the fireworks show, dazzling attendees and making for an evening to truly remember! Every VIP table was filled with guests, as they popped some bubbly to celebrate the end of 2018. Host Kevin Hart got on the mic as the clock was about to strike midnight, with everyone joining in for the countdown! Confetti, sparklers and light shows filled Drai’s Nightclub as it struck midnight, with fireworks going off all across the Strip.

Last but certainly not least, Drai’s resident Future came out in full force for 2019 with “Mask Off” and “No Cap,” looking very sleek in a black tuxedo – “Put your twos up; if you from out of town make some noise right now! I gotta give a special shout out to Vegas!” His highly-anticipated return to the Drai’s LIVE stage took everything to the next level – you had to be there to truly experience this epic moment. “Twos up for DS2!” After performing a number of his earlier chart-toppers, it was time for DS2 turn-up hits “Thought It Was a Drought,” “Stick Talk” and “F*** Up Some Commas,” getting everyone up and dancing and singing along! “Where my bad ladies at right now?!” Future concluded this stellar New Year’s Eve weekend with “Low Life” and “March Madness” – “I appreciate y’all, thank you Vegas!” 2018 was definitely one for the books, and we want to thank each and every one of you for making it an extraordinary year! Here’s to another memorable one and be sure stay tuned for what we have in store for 2019!
