As expected, Lil Wayne’s long-awaited Tha Carter V album debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200 charts this week with an incredible 480k copies moved, but he also managed to make chart history as well. The Drai’s resident became the first artist to debut two songs in Billboard Hot 100’s top 5 simultaneously, with “Mona Lisa” featuring Kendrick Lamar entering at no. 2 and “Don’t Cry” featuring XXXTentacion at no. 5. That’s not all as Tunechi joins fellow signee Drake as the only artists to debut four songs in the top 10 in a single week, with “Uproar” coming in at no. 7 and “Let It Fly” featuring Travis Scott launching at no. 10. The Young Money general has a lot to celebrate for this week and we want to congratulate him on Tha Carter V‘s success! If you haven’t already, stream Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V below.
