Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill’s Championships album has debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, moving at an equivalent of 229,000 units in the week ending December 6. Championships is Meek’s sixth consecutive top 10 album, comprised of his entire discography to date, including his four-song Legends of the Summer EP released back in July, which debuted and peaked at no. 9. His latest LP marks his second biggest opening numbers so far, just behind his debut 2012 album Dreams and Nightmares, which moved an impressive 246,000 units in its first week.
