Watch TIP Perform on NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’

NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ is a popular favorite among many music enthusiasts, and we’re proud to say that our very own TIP is the newest artist to be featured. Joining him on the instrumentals are a set of young musicians from the Atlanta Music Project, a nonprofit program for students wanting to pursue their dreams in music. The timing is just right as Augusts 2018 marks the 15th anniversary of TIP’s critically-acclaimed sophomore album Trap Muzik, which launched him to stardom across the world. The talented troupe assisted TIP with classics “Rubber Band Man,” “What You Know” and “Live Your Life,” putting a classical twist on his street anthems by adding strings and brass in place of 808 bass. “This music was about the elements that people have to endure in their lives every day and find a brighter side and make a way out of no way,” he said. “That’s what this music represents.” Take a look at TIP’s rendition of NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ in the source link below.

Be sure to catch TIP’s return to Drai’s Nightclub on Saturday, September 8! Click here for tickets.
