Rae Sremmurd consists of real life brothers Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee, the first act signed to multi-platinum producer Mike WiLL Made-It's EarDrummers imprint (where they got their name from spelling both words backwards). In January 2015, the duo released their debut album SremmLife, which was certified platinum by the RIAA. The following year Rae Sremmurd released their sophomore effort, SremmLife 2, which was met with critical acclaim with numerous hit singles; "Black Beatles" peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while also charting internationally in the top 10 in many countries. 2016 also saw the brothers creating their own record label, SremmLife Crew Records. Rae Sremmurd also released other platinum-certified singles such as "No Type," "No Flex Zone" and "Swang." In 2018 they dropped SR3MM, a triple album which consists of debut solo projects from the duo: Sweacation by Swae Lee and Jxmtro by Slim Jxmmi.
