Jeremih has played music since he was just a kid and plays an array of instruments, showing his musical prowess. In 2009 while studying at Columbia College, he recorded a demo with Mick Schultz. His first song that got airtime regularly was titled "My Ride." In February of 2009, Jeremih flew out to New York City to perform in front of the Island Def Jam president and executive vice president and signed to the recording company shortly after. His debut album Jeremih came out and his lead single "Birthday Sex" peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. A year later Jeremih came out with his second album All About You with his single "Down On Me" featuring 50 Cent, making it to the top 10. Some time has passed between his third album, but in December 2015 Jeremih came out with Late Nights which featured guest artists like J. Cole, YG and fellow Drai's residents Big Sean, Future, Ty Dolla $ign and Migos. In late 2018 Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign released their collaborative MihTy project, perfectly complimenting each others' unique singing styles.
