DJ Esco at Drai’s Nightclub for New Year’s Eve weekend
With unmatched views of the Strip and fireworks shows, and another powerhouse lineup, there was no better place to celebrate the end of the year than here at Drai’s Nightclub! The festivities kicked off Thursday, December 28 atop The Cromwell with DJ Esco performing his electrifying set on stage. It was then the start of New Year’s weekend with a stacked lineup from our resident artists, with sounds by DJ Franzen: Friday with R&B sensation Trey Songz, rap superstar Future on Saturday, and the one and only Chris Brown for New Year’s Eve!
Trey Songz at Drai’s Nightclub for New Year’s Eve weekend
It was an exciting Friday night as Trey Songz graced the Drai’s LIVE stage. Trigga got things started with “It’s a Vibe” as partygoers all over the venue cheered in excitement. He sang countless chart-toppers such as “Slow Motion,” “2 Reasons” and “Na Na.” He was also seen taking one of our video cameras and doing some video work, getting some exclusive point-of-view footage of his fans! As Trey wrapped the night up with “Bottoms Up,” he invited all of the birthday girls in the club up on stage to join him for a meet and greet. Trey then did a birthday toast and took some shots with the lucky ladies, and graciously took some group pictures. It was another spectacular night with our very own Trey Songz!
Future at Drai’s Nightclub for New Year’s Eve weekend
Saturday got off without a hitch with Future fans filling the entire venue. It was also the debut of our upgraded Drai’s LIVE stage, with a runway added on to make for an even more intimate experience! The Drai’s Dirty Dancers entertained guests throughout the night making great use of the extended runway, with DJ Franzen on the decks. Countless bottle presentations were happening at our premium VIP tables, fitting for such a big weekend as this. As Future was about to go on, his go-to man and the COOLEST DJ in the world, DJ Esco, made a special appearance to warm the crowd up! Appropriately starting with “Too Much Sauce,” Esco shouted out as many cities as possible to guests. “Is California in the house?! New York, Texas, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, UK, who else is in this motherf*****?! On the count of three I want you to scream what city you from!” as the crowd shouted locations from all across the world.
Future then made his stage appearance, coming out to “Draco” with roars echoing the nightclub. “We got real fans up in here, Vegas knows what’s good” says Future, as we saw tables making it rain throughout the entire performance! “All the ladies, single ladies make some noise right now! If you got a drink in your hand make some noise!” as he was drinking on some Ace of Spades. “Shout out to y’all celebrating the new year right now!” It was a night of surprise guests as well, as emerging singer and XO signee NAV made his way up to sing his hit song “Wanted You.” As Hendrix finished “March Madness,” he brought out another surprise guest to accompany him for “Relationship,” Young Thug! Off of Young Thug’s critically-acclaimed album Beautiful Thugger Girls, the two Atlanta rappers were feeding off from the energy of the club with a memorable close to the night. The two recently released a collaborative album entitled Super Slimey. Future, Young Thug and NAV were seen hanging out afterwards in the VIP booth, with Blac Chyna spotted amongst other notable tastemakers. Drai’s Marketing Director Dustin Drai had the honor of gifting Future a custom case with three bottles of Ace of Spades champagne!
Chris Brown at Drai’s Nightclub for New Year’s Eve 2018
New Year’s Eve, as expected, was a sold out affair, with patrons dressed in their best for our black tie event with Chris Brown! It was a night to truly remember as each table was filled with guests, popping some bubbly to celebrate the close of 2017. DJ Franzen got on the mic as the clock was about to hit midnight, with everyone joining in for the countdown displayed on our state-of-the-art LED screens. Confetti, sparklers and light shows filled Drai’s Nightclub as it struck midnight, with fireworks going off all across the Las Vegas Strip! It was the perfect way to end the year atop The Cromwell, with a perfect view of the fireworks show dazzling attendees.
It was then time for our grand finale: Chris Brown came out to perform, starting 2018 right with “Ayo.” He was joined by his backup dancers, putting on an incredible set with his mesmerizing choreography. Breezy took full advantage of the extended runway, being closer than ever to his fans while showing off his trademark dance moves. Chris was seen rocking a highly-coveted Nike x Off-White “The Ten” shoe with the Zoom Fly, as he zipped across the Drai’s LIVE stage all night. He performed chart-topping singles like “Loyal,” “Deuces,” “High End” and many more throughout the sold out crowd. Chris teased the many lovely ladies to lifting his shirt during “Strip” – “where my ladies at?!” as he then went on to “Hope You Do” from his latest double album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon. “Vegas, I wanna send my love out to you tonight, Happy New Year! I love y’all, thank you!” as he concluded the night with another astonishing show!
From all of us here at Drai’s Nightclub, we want to thank each and every one of you for making 2017 truly unforgettable! Here’s to another epic year and be sure stay tuned for what we have in store for 2018!
