St. Patrick’s Day weekend was in full swing here at Drai’s featuring the best live acts in Las Vegas nightlife and beyond – brothers Rae Sremmurd kicked it off for us Friday night, Saturday afternoon was the opening of Drai’s Beachclub’s 2019 season with DJ Pauly D, French Montana took over Saturday evening back at Drai’s Nightclub, and West Coast legend Snoop Dogg made his long-awaited return for Sunday! Special guests included NBA player Dillon Brooks, NFL player Ron Parker, artist Flavor Flav, and many more.

“Las Vegas, y’all ready to turn up with SremmLife?!” Rae Sremmurd got things started with “No Type” and “No Flex Zone” in full force, getting the jam-packed crowd hype from start to finish. “Shout out to everyone celebrating a birthday! If you from out of town say ‘hell yeah’! I wanna take a shot with Las Vegas! We gotta dedicate this song for all the beautiful ladies in here!” The dynamic and always energetic duo then put on an “Unforgettable” performance to screams everywhere, dancing around on stage and interacting with fans on the dancefloor. “Swang,” “Sunflower,” “Black Beatles” – you name it, they performed it, and then closing it out with SR3MM standout “Powerglide” to smoke and confetti all across the rooftop venue!

The next day was the opening of Drai’s Beachclub, with our very own DJ Pauly D proudly kicking off our exciting 2019 season. Fans from all over came out to Las Vegas’s only rooftop party, dancing, drinking and making a splash on this beautiful sunny day, all while taking in breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip! “Yessir, if you ready to party with DJ Pauly D make some noise! Hands up!” Pauly played some of the best remixes from hip-hop, EDM, Latin and everything in between, with a focus on today’s biggest hits. “Yeah buddy! Who wants a Pauly D sticker?!” The crowd cheered on as Pauly got in front of the stage to hand out some exclusive stickers, happily greeting fans in the process (selfies, handshakes and all!). We also had our lovely Drai’s Dolls go on stage for some champagne showers as the beat dropped, making for a perfect picture-esque afternoon! Saturday night we had French Montana once again drawing out a sold out show as partygoers came out for a nightlife experience like no other. “Vegas! Who’s been rocking with French Montana since day 1?!” Starting it off with “Work,” he then brought his breakout single “Shot Caller” for all the day 1’s in the building. We had bottles after bottles coming in at all of our VIP tables, some making it rain throughout his whole set as he performed hits like “Ain’t Worried About Nothin’,” “Lockjaw,” “No Shopping” and more – “I see a lot of fly motherf***** in here! Can I take a shot with y’all Vegas?!” French took a moment to take a shot with everyone, keeping the celebrations and good vibes going strong, closing it out with “Pop That” and “No Stylist”! The party was far from over though as French and his close friends/colleagues enjoyed themselves at our backstage VIP to celebrate another successful evening! Lastly we had a very special edition of #SunDraisWithDJFranzen featuring the highly-anticipated return of Snoop Dogg! The venue was packed full of Snoop fans and West Coast hip-hop enthusiast to make for a memorable St. Patrick’s Day. We had a surprise performance from the one and only Warren G to get things warmed up as people cheered in excitement, bringing out hits like “I Got 5 On It,” “It’s All About You,” “Regulate” and more! Shortly afterwards Snoop Dogg made his return to the world-famous Drai’s LIVE stage, taking us back to 1993 with “The Shiznit” followed by “P.I.M.P.” to screams everywhere – “Chea, happy St. Patrick’s Day! Make some motherf***** noise!” Tha Doggfather performed classic after classic as fans sang along, from “The Next Episode,” “Nuthin’ But a G Thang,” “Gin & Juice,” to “You and Your Friends,” with a surprise appearance from rap duo Tha Dogg Pound (Kurupt and Daz Dillinger) hyping it up on stage! Renowned American business publication Forbes got a chance to speak with nightlife impresario Victor Drai and son Dustin Drai — director of marketing here at Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub — for an extensive feature where they discuss everything from Victor’s inspirational success story, producing big-budget films, Dustin’s early involvement in the nightlife industry, their undeniable father-son chemistry, and more. “The reason I knew a lot about this business is that I grew up in Paris and you would go to a club and buy a bottle, and they would put your name on the bottle for when you came back. They never had bottle service in America, so when I started my first club, I started to introduce it for the first time,” said Victor Drai on the topic of innovating the nightlife scene and incorporating what he’s learned throughout his storied career.

“I didn’t want to have everyone think I was just the owner’s son … I wanted to have personal experience in every side of the business. I want people to respect what I have to say, and that’s kind of what my Dad has always instilled in me growing up,” as Dustin recalls his father imparting words of wisdom and wanting him to learn every aspect of the nightlife industry, from starting at Drai’s as a busboy to everything else in between, learning the ins and outs of the family organization. “My Dad would ask me what I think about their design choices in front of 20 executives, and he would talk to me like I was one of them. As long as I can remember I have always been involved. Everywhere else it’s just Tuesday, but it was a Mardi Gras Masquerade last night down at Drai’s After Hours! The fifth edition of Imagine Tuesdays was full of New Orleans-inspired decor, transforming the posh hot spot into Fat Tuesday as people wore purple, green and gold-colored beads, masquerade masks and outfits, with plenty of balloons displayed across the venue. Tables were making it rain from start to finish as bottle presentations, birthday celebrations and more were going on, with DJ Maria Romano getting everyone up and dancing as she played the hottest in hip-hop and R&B. Fashion week is here in Las Vegas, and Drai’s Nightclub was excited to kick start the festivities last night with a special performance from Rae Sremmurd! In partnership with sneaker connoisseurs Zen, we were proud to host the official Agenda after party. The industry’s most notable and influential came out in style for a live nightlife experience like no other on the Strip, as Rae Sremmurd delivered another stellar set.

“Las Vegas WTF is going on?! If you from out of town say ‘hell yeah’!” The dynamic duo got the show started strong with “No Type” and “No Flex Zone,” coming out in full force to get the crowd going from start to finish. Rae Sremmurd brought nothing but good vibes and high energy throughout their performance, with bottles being popped and people up and dancing the night away. “Lotta sexy ladies in Vegas right now, ladies say ‘yeah’!” Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi had to do it for them as they performed “Come Get Her,” “Throw Sum Mo,” “Unforgettable” and more to their fullest, getting the excited Agenda audience turned up. Rae Sremmurd’s interaction with the crowd is unmatched, shaking hands, pouring drinks, and even grabbing some lucky fans’ phones for some Instagram Stories! “We wanna take a shot with y’all on the count of 3 – it’s a celebration!” And for the first time on the Drai’s LIVE stage we had Swae perform “Sunflower,” brightening everyone up as they gladly sang along to the #1 hit. “Y’all need a break?! Didn’t think so – we ’bout to go stupid with this next song!” The brothers closed out this epic evening with SR3MM chart-topper “Powerglide,” going all out one last time and then some. “Las Vegas, Drai’s y’all party like some rock stars! SremmLife!”

 

February started off jam-packed with excitement here at Drai’s Nightclub, featuring an unbeatable lineup fit for the Big Game weekend – Method Man & Redman kicked us off Friday night, Saturday was fan-favorite Big Sean, and Sunday was the grand debut of French Montana! Special guests included Floyd Mayweather, Amber Rose, Odell Beckham Jr., Captain Munnerlyn, Julio Jones, and many more.

Friday evening saw a very special performance from East Coast hip-hop legends Method Man and Redman! Partygoers from all over came out to see the dynamic duo in action, performing “Y.O.U.,” “Time 4 Sum Aksion” and “Pick It Up” to get everybody riled up. “Las Vegas WTF is up! Make some noise in this joint man, we goin’ back to the ’90s – it’s only right!” A slew of classics were brought out to the masses as fans rapped along to each and every word, even performing some standout Wu-Tang tracks for the day 1s. The pair were in their element as they worked the crowd from start to finish with their incredible energy and charismatic nature – we even had Method Man hop up on one of the VIP tables as he laid out some killer bars on “Release Yo Delf.” Method Man and Redman closed it out with “Dangerous MC’s” and “Da Rockwilder,” as well as an encore performance with “Rapper’s Delight” to cap it off!

Returning on Saturday was the one and only Big Sean, bringing out a sold out show as we continued our Big Game weekend festivities. “Sean Don in this motherf*****, Super Bowl weekend! Y’all got the Pats or the Rams?” They most definitely favored the Rams to take it, applauding and screaming as he stepped back up on the Drai’s LIVE stage. “If y’all feeling good tonight make some noise… If you celebrating a birthday make some noise!” Sean took a moment to show love and shout out everyone that came out from different parts of the world, saving the West Coast for last to loud cheers as he transitioned into “Clique.” “If you gonna make a million dollars over your lifetime make some noise right now! If you not taking that leap of faith you gotta do it; do what you love!” offering words of encouragement as he performed “Don’t Like,” “Blessings” and countless other hits for the excited crowd. Ending his performance with chart-toppers “IDFWU” and “Bounce Back” kept the party going well into the night – another show-stopping set with Big Sean!

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to close out this memorable weekend, proudly debuting French Montana live in concert here at Drai’s Nightclub! The venue was packed and filled with good vibes from beginning to end, with bottle presentations left to right and tables making it rain nonstop throughout the night. French was all smiles as he enjoyed himself with friends and colleagues on the back stage VIP, and made his way over to greet fellow rapper Machine Gun Kelly and Odell Beckham Jr. before his performance. You can feel the anticipation from the fans as he graced the world-famous Drai’s LIVE stage, debuting with “Work” and “Shot Caller” to screams everywhere! “If you from out of town make some noise one time! We in motherf***** Vegas, what happens in Vegas stays here, nah mean?!” It was hit after hit from thereon out, even inviting up MGK for “Ocho Cinco” to everyone’s amazement – the energy was literally through the roof atop The Cromwell! With so much going on already, French took a moment to slow it down a bit by performing “Unforgettable” as everybody sang along to the #1 hit. He closed out his breakthrough performance with “Pop That” and song-of-the-moment “No Stylist” to perfectly encapsulate the Big Game weekend!

Groovy, baby! It was a ‘Shagadelic Shindig’ two nights ago at Drai’s After Hours for the fourth edition of Imagine Tuesdays, the hottest late night party on the Strip. The iconic lounge could have very well been the set of Austin Powers as guests and VIP staff dressed the part with some bell-bottom jeans, pencil dresses, jean vests, chunky boots and more, of course with plenty of bright colors and tie-dye to match. Go-go dancers were all over the posh basement venue as well, dancing on top of tables to flower motifs and other ’60s nostalgic decor mixed in. As always our very own DJ Maria Romano played some of the best in today’s music to keep the party going all night long, with plenty of bottle presentations and birthday celebrations happening. Lots of lovely ladies up here – yeah buddy!!” Cheers were everywhere as he played some of the best in today’s music across all genres, including mixes to “No Stylist,” “Don’t Stop Believing,” “Fake Chanel” and more, all backed by our mesmerizing Drai’s Dirty Dancers! Pauly made sure to get in front of the stage to greet the energetic crowd – “Who loves Pauly D?! Las Vegas turn the f*** up!” The Pauly D party went on well into the evening, and we can’t wait to have him back again at Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub!

Saturday night was the highly-anticipated return of the one and only TIP – it was a memorable evening filled with bottle presentations, tables making it rain, and fans from all over eager to see the King of the South perform again on the world-famous Drai’s LIVE stage. “If you love trap music make some noise! If you from out of town make some noise!” He began the show with “Top Back” into “Rubberband Man” to screams across the sold-out venue – “How many of y’all been riding with the King since day 1?!” The Drai’s resident performed a number of classic hits from his endless arsenal, from 2004’s “U Don’t Know Me,” “Why You Wanna” to 2014’s “No Mediocre,” getting fans amped up and singing along all night. TIP closed it out with “Live Your Life,” “What You Know” and “ATM.” But it didn’t end there… we had a surprise appearance from Yo Gotti right after, performing “F***  You” to keep the party going and warming up for his performance the next day.

Yo Gotti once again put on a show to remember for Sunday to perfectly close out the weekend. DJ Franzen warmed the jam-packed crowd up playing the best in hip-hop and R&B, as well as handing out some complimentary shots for those on the dancefloor! Gotti came out with a statement starting with his bold single “F*** You” into “Yayo” and “I Got Dat Sack” – “I go by the name Yo Gotti and I represent the three letters: CMG. Let me take em back home to Memphis!” He then performed fan-favorite “Slob on My Knob,” “Doin 2 Much” and more, happily reaching out to the crowd and shaking hands. “Las Vegas, y’all enjoying yourselves or what?! Yo Blak (his DJ), I notice a lot of birthday girls in here!” Gotti then took a moment to shout out as many birthday girls as possible before ending his explosive set with “Rake It Up,” “Juice” and “1942” to confetti and smoke everywhere – another weekend for the books here at Drai’s Nightclub!

Pauly showcased his impressive open format style on the Drai’s LIVE stage, playing the hottest in hip-hop, EDM, Latin and everything in between, getting everyone up and dancing all night long. Some notable mixes include “Uproar,” “Taki Taki,” “Missing You,” “ZEZE” and many more, all backed by our lovely Drai’s Dirty Dancers on stage! “I love Vegas this time of year! If Pauly D is your friend make some noise!” Pauly of course took a moment to step up front to happily greet his fans, and then later turned into a light show as we dimmed the lights and handed out foam LED sticks to everybody on the dancefloor – another one for the books here at Drai’s!

As for Saturday, Drai’s resident Nelly drew in a sold out crowd – they were in for a memorable night and you can feel the incredible energy and good vibes from the get go! The St. Louis rapper was all smiles and couldn’t help but hop on stage before his set, saying hello to everybody and even borrowing our photographer’s camera for some POV shots! Nelly and members of the St. Lunatics warmed up the audience with “Uproar” followed by “E.I.,” as cheers and screams filled the air – “West Coast, where y’all at?! I wanna thank y’all for being here tonight at Drai’s. I’ve been doing this for 20 years, and I wanna talk to everyone that’s been with Nelly since day 1!” He then took us all the way back to 2000 as he performed his breakout single “Country Grammar” as fans sang along to every word. Performing hit after hit, Nelly took a moment to bring out country star Brian Kelley on stage to show some love and appreciation to the fellow collaborator! The highlights didn’t stop there as he closed it out with his #1 smash hit “Hot in Herre” into “Dilemma,” inviting a bride to be up on stage for an intimate duet. Nelly kept the party going as he hung out on stage afterwards for pictures and to greet as many people as he can, always showing love and appreciation every time here at Drai’s Nightclub!

As 2018 nears its end, our lineup for New Year’s Eve weekend at Drai’s Nightclub is unlike any other in the industry!
