2 Chainz Announces 5th Studio Album ‘Rap or Go to the League’

Fresh from releasing his EP The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It, leading a team of hip-hop ballers during the adidas-sponsored East vs. West Hip-Hop All-Star Game, and making his incredible residency debut here at Drai’s Nightclub earlier this week, there’s even more in store for 2 Chainz fans. The Atlanta native announced his fifth long-player will be named Rap or Go to the League during Def Jam’s NBA All-Star Weekend party, and celebrated it with a massive blimp to promote it. The whole theme revolves around basketball as it was revealed during All-Star Weekend, the name of the project, his affinity for the game, and his history with playing college ball. Following up his highly-lauded LP Pretty Girls Like Trap Music and being featured on the stacked Black Panther soundtrack alongside Kendrick Lamar, Saudi and ScHoolboy Q, 2 Chainz is looking to make 2018 his year. No release date for Rap or Go to the League has been announced but stay tuned for more details in the near future.
