Future got his start back in 2010 when he released a series of mixtapes and eventually signed a major label deal with Epic Records. From then he launched his own label imprint, Freebandz. His first single "Tony Montana" proved to be of great success and even landed him a collab with artist Drake. In 2012, Future was chosen for the Freshmen List of XXL. His album Pluto featured five singles in the Billboard 100. His third album, DS2 landed him his very first Billboard 200 #1 ranking. Future has worked with many big names over the years and in 2015 dropped What a Time to Be Alive with Drake, featuring hits like "Jumpman" and "Big Rings." His 2018 solo projects were FUTURE and HNDRXX, which released back-to-back a week apart and spawned the monstrous single "Mask Off." The Atlanta rapper has dropped a number of collaborative projects the past two years: Super Slimey with Young Thug, Beast Mode 2 with Zaytoven, and Wrld on Drugs with Juice WRLD. His latest album, The WIZRD, dropped in January 2019 to much acclaim, continuing to evolve and refine his sound to the masses.
