Rae Sremmurd & Juicy J’s “Powerglide” Has Gone Platinum

Real time music statistic outlet chart data has tweeted that Rae Sremmurd’s “Powerglide” is eligible for Platinum status by the RIAA, and the brothers have confirmed via Instagram that it’s official:

Serving as the lead single from their recent triple-disc album SR3MM, “Powerglide” released in March 1, 2018 and features Southern rap veteran Juicy J. The energetic track helped build the hype for SR3MM‘s highly-anticipated release, so it’s no surprise it reached Platinum this quickly. It’s been quite a year for the dynamic duo so far, riding off the release of SR3MM and its many hits, and will soon be embarking on a major tour with Wiz Khalifa, O.T. Genasis and Lil Skies.
