Another spectacular weekend has come and gone here in Las Vegas, and it was another memorable one to say the least. We started it off Saturday with Dada Life heating things up as always at Drai’s Beachclub, followed by the always showstopping Migos performing later that night at Drai’s Nightclub, and Sunday evening we saw Akon closing the weekend out with a bang! We had a number of special guests including Floyd Mayweather, NFL players Kawann Short and Tyrann Mathieu, hip-hop group Travis Porter, and much more celebrating the weekend!
It was a gorgeous, sunny Saturday afternoon to get wet and wild to. “This is our nation, Vegas I want you to put your hands up! This is our nation, and this… is Dada Life!” Stefan of Dada Life never fails to get the crowd amped up, starting it off with “Our Nation” for the Dada Nation. “I want everyone in the water to go f’n bananas, let’s do this! Hold up your hands and get ready, hold them up! Are you ready?!” as partygoers certainly made a splash in all of our pools! The good vibes kept on going with drinks flowing, beach balls in the air, Dada merch being given out, and celebrations all over the place! Dada Life played popular dance hits “I Like It Loud,” “Sphinx,” “Disco Weapon” and plenty more to get the crowd up and dancing. “I see every one of you, you’re so beautiful! I want all the bananas on stage, you’re way too beautiful!” and sure enough they made their way on stage, providing a much-needed champagne shower to Dada hits “Tonight We’re Kids Again,” “Born to Rage” and “I Don’t Care About You”! What else can we say? It was just BANANAS! Dada Life will be back here Saturday, August 25! Click here for tickets.
The Saturday momentum continued later that night, as eager Migos fans made their way up to Drai’s Nightclub for another sold out show! Quavo swiftly asked the crowd “Las Vegas, if you came from out of town and you ready to party in Vegas, can I get a ‘yessir!'” as the trio started it off with “Higher We Go” into “Supastars” to roaring cheers across the venue. It was pandemonium everywhere you looked with bottle presentations left and right, tables making it rain, and everyone just having a blast! Migos performed “Hannah Montana” and “Fight Night” for the day 1 fans, then going into Culture standouts “Slippery,” “T-Shirt,” and of course “Bad and Boujee” — “Where’s all the bad and boujee ladies at tonight?!” asked DJ Durel as screams filled the air. They closed their performance off in style performing Culture II hits “Narcos,” “MotorSport” and “Stir Fry,” keeping the party going strong as revelers sang along to each word. The Migos will make their return to Drai’s Nightclub on Friday, July 20! Click here for tickets.
For another special edition of #SunDraisWithDJFranzen, we had the one and only Akon making his grand return to the Drai’s LIVE stage! Being the hottest Sunday party destination on the Strip, it was a packed house as Akon fans made their way to the dance floor. “What up Drai’s? I said what up Drai’s?!” as Akon made his way on stage fittingly starting it off with “We Takin’ Over”! Everyone was treated to Akon performing classic club-bangers like “I Wanna Love You,” “Smack That,” “Dangerous” and much more. “There’s a lot of beautiful women in here tonight! Ladies lemme hear you say ‘ahh!’ Y’all wanna turn up or what?!” as he then took his shirt off, with all the girls screaming! He had an endless supply of chart-toppers being brought out, from “Right Now,” “Bartender” to “I Just Had Sex,” putting a smile on everyone’s faces. “Lemme get a bottle of champagne real quick! I just wanna drink some champagne with y’all real quick!” before performing “Disrespectful,” then taking it to the next level by spraying the fans! Akon was feeding off the incredible energy all night, and couldn’t help but stage dive to the crowd during “Til the Sun Rise Up” — you had to be here to witness the insanity!
After being teased earlier this week by electro house king David Guetta, him and Drai’s Beachclub residents Showtek have just dropped their track “Your Love.” Beginning with a dynamic bassline, it builds up into an upbeat progression that both Showtek and Guetta fans can appreciate, leading to the main vocals. “Your Love” continues to build until the drop comes in, unleashing a captivating synth line over a booming house bass. It’s definitely sounding like another summer banger for dance floors worldwide with its upbeat, get-up-and-dance vibe. Showtek and David Guetta’s last collaborative effort was back in 2014 with “Bad” and “Sun Goes Down,” so this song comes as the perfect refresher for the trio. Stream “Your Love” below.
Be sure to catch Showtek here at Drai’s Beachclub on Saturday, June 16! Click here for tickets.

Arguably our biggest 2018 lineup to date, Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub brought the very best in hip-hop and dance music for Memorial Day Weekend! For Drai’s Beachclub on Saturday we saw the 2018 Beachclub debut of Rae Sremmurd alongside A-Trak, and Sunday was R&B sensation Trey Songz with sounds by DJ Pauly D. Friday evening at Drai’s Nightclub was the grand return of Future, Saturday was an exclusive co-headlining performance from 2 Chainz and Trey Songz (along with some very special guests), and we wrapped it up on Sunday with the #1 rap group in the world Migos. A lineup this big means plenty of special guests came out to party: NFL players Von Miller, Captain Munnerlyn, Jamie Collins, Akem Ayers, Keith Smith, Marqise Lee and many more; NBA players Myles Turner, Anthony Davis, Trevor Booker, Iman Shumpert, Brandan Wright, CJ Watson, Damian Lillard and Isiah Thomas; music artists Akon, Desiigner, YG, Playboi Carti, Teyana Taylor and Young Buck; and notable guests Terrence J, Jasmine Sanders, restaurateur Michael Chow and actor John Robinson! And now for our MDW 2018 recap:
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to start Memorial Day Weekend off with Future live in concert at Drai’s Nightclub! His highly-anticipated return to the Drai’s stage was the talk of the town, once again making for another fun-filled, jam-packed evening. You could just feel the great energy from everyone in the club, thrilled to begin their three-day weekend off in the hottest nightclub on the Strip! Future began his set with a verse from “King’s Dead” into 2012’s “Same Damn Time,” with loud cheers filling the entire venue. He brought out more of his classics than usual, performing “Chosen One,” “Itchin,” “Bugatti” and more for the day 1 fans! “Vegas y’all ready to turn up?! I think we need to go to another level right now…” as he then performed club-banger “New Level,” always getting everyone amped up! Future kept the party going with fan-favorites like “Thought It Was a Drought,” “Low Life” and “March Madness.” “If you having a good time put your drinks up!” as he went into everyone’s favorite turn-up anthem, “Commas”! Future closed his set off the best way possible with “Mask Off,” as partygoers sang each and every word with bottles being popped, tables making it rain, and everyone just having a blast!
Saturday afternoon saw Rae Sremmurd’s 2018 Drai’s Beachclub debut, with sounds by A-Trak! It was a packed house from beginning to end, with guests from all over looking for some fun in the sun on the rooftop of The Cromwell! A-Trak warmed up the crowd with his impeccable scratching and transitions, bringing out the best remixes to hits like “Gotti,” “Wipe Me Down,” “I’m Going In,” and a whole lot more. He smoothly mixed it up from hip-hop to R&B, to some dance bangers like “Sahara,” “Bootyzilla” and his very own “Prayer Hands.” We also had everyone in and around the pools “Swag Surfin'” to the hit song; you had to be there to really know! It was then time for Rae Sremmurd’s show, opening with “No Type” for the many ladies in the club! “How many people from out of town right here?! I wanna see everybody jumping in the pools like you don’t give a f***, SremmLife!” and without hesitation we had fans cheering and making a splash in the pools! Always showing love to their fans, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi greet those up front and even grabbing phones for some exclusive stories! The brothers performed a number of SR3MM singles like “42,” “Brxnks Truck” and “Guatemala,” and of course crowd favorites “Unforgettable,” “Black Beatles,” “Swang” and more! “Y’all so turned up right now, everyone having a good time?! Y’all sound so beautiful!” Rae Sremmurd finished their explosive set with “Powerglide,” proving time and again that they bring the best out of everyone!
If we had one word to describe Saturday night here at Drai’s Nightclub, it would have to be historic. Another sold out evening, we had excited guests coming in from around the world to see both 2 Chainz and Trey Songz live in concert! Let’s get right into it as there’s A LOT to cover: Trey got the evening started to “Na Na” and “Touchin, Lovin,” never failing to get the ladies screaming! During “Invented Sex,” Swae Lee was vibing off the incredible energy and couldn’t help but go up on stage for a bit to say hello! Trey then surprised loyalists by singing classics like “Beat It Up,” “Takin’ It There” and “Dive In,” and of course they knew every word! “Who’s ready for 2 Chainz up in here!” Trey asked, to roaring cheers everywhere! 2 Chainz happily gets tagged in, getting it going with “No Problem” followed by “All Me.” “Shout out to all the pretty ladies in the building. If you came out here with your best friends make some noise!” as he rapped “Rich As F***” to everyone winning that night. “I’m Different,” “Trap Check,” “Watch Out,” “4 AM” and his latest single “PROUD” were also brought out, with Trey joining 2 Chainz on stage for “It’s a Vibe”; it’s only right that this happened! Trigga continues with his latest club banger “Booty (Remix),” then shots were passed out during “Say Aah” for all the birthday people in the building! Then without warning, “New Freezer” starts playing — that’s right, Rich The Kid came up on stage to the delight of everyone! He then brought out one of the biggest singles out right now, “Plug Walk,” getting the crowd really riled up. But just as everyone thought it was over, we had another surprise up our sleeves: Swae Lee returned to the stage to perform “Powerglide,” “No Type” and “Unforgettable”! This night couldn’t get any better, right? Wrong! O.T. Genasis came out to “Cut It,” “Push It” and “CoCo,” and it was just madness from there on out! Trey then said “I think we can do one more,” fittingly closing this legendary evening out with “Bottoms Up.” It was truly a magical, once in a lifetime show for the books!
The momentum kept on going Sunday at Drai’s Beachclub, with Trey Songz coming back for the dayclubbers and the return of DJ Pauly D! Pauly kicked it off with remixes to “Work,” “Congratulations,” “Best Friend,” “All I Do Is Win” and much more alongside our Drai’s Dirty Dancers accompanying him. There was no better place to be in Vegas than here, overlooking the entire Strip with bottles popping, beach balls in the air, and the perfect weather for some sunbathing! “If you’re in the pool, I need you to splash when the beat drops!” His energetic mic presence always keeps the party going strong, gladly greeting many fans by the stage while he was at it. Trey Songz was back and ready to sing for the Beachclub crowd: “I just came out here to have a good time with y’all today, let’s go!” before performing “Heart Attack” then “Slow Motion.” “Who wants to have a drink with me?! Who’s celebrating a birthday right now?” For all the Geminis, it was time for “2 Reason” and “Say Aah,” and we definitely had a lot of birthday people celebrating! Trigga closed his set out with “Bottoms Up” as we had everyone singing it with him, and cabanas making it rain over the balcony to add to the wonderful ambiance! Trey graciously greeted fans on the stage afterwards, taking time for some pictures and handing out drinks!
We ended Memorial Day Weekend in style Sunday night with the hottest acts in town: Migos live in concert! The show was sold out early on, with eager fans making their way in to see the trio on stage. We had the amazing Amadeus on drums, with DJ Franzen on the decks playing the biggest R&B and hip-hop hits from the ’90s to today. It was a spectacular evening from start to finish, being the last day for MDW so we had people going all in and having the time of their lives! Migos began their set with “Supastars” followed by Culture singles “Deadz” and “Slippery.” “If y’all having a good time, can I get a ‘yessir!’ Where my day 1 Migos fans at?!” asked Quavo before performing 2013’s “Hannah Montana” to loud cheers! They also rapped to Cardi B’s banger “Drip,” and there were definitely a lot of Cardi supporters in the building. The Migos had quite the arsenal of chart-toppers, bringing out “Ice Tray,” “Fight Night,” “Walk It Talk It,” “Stir Fry” and more. Offset got on the mic and told everyone “when I say raindrop, you say drop top! Rain drop…” “Drop top!” so it was time to get “Bad and Boujee” for a few minutes, causing tables to make it rain, more shots, and a lot of dancing! Migos concluded their show with “T-Shirt,” thus ending our mind-blowing Memorial Day Weekend festivities! If you missed out on Migos this time then fear not, as they will be returning again to Drai’s Nightclub in June!
We have a lot to cover here at Drai’s Beachclub as EDC Week 2018 was going on, with our highly-coveted lineup being the talk of the town here in Las Vegas! Featuring our most diverse dance lineup ever, we had fans from all over the world coming out for this year’s edition, with some acts exclusively available here that people couldn’t see at the festival. The festivities started Thursday afternoon with GTA, Ape Drums, ETC!ETC!, Henry Fong and JSTJR; Friday we had Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet; Saturday was Zeds Dead, Snails and 4B; Sunday was our Fool’s Gold party with A-Trak, Anna Lunoe and KITTENS; and finally we had MK, CamelPhat, Solardo and Will Clarke to close it out for us on Monday! Our epic five-day Drai’s Beachclub EDC Week 2018 recap starts now:
EDC festival goers and dance fans alike were excited to get the party going on Thursday, as you can feel the buzz in the air on the rooftop of The Cromwell! Henry Fong was first to step on stage to roaring cheers from the crowd! What better way to start us off with some of his signature tropical and moombahton dance mixes as things started to heat up? Henry brought to the tables crowd favorites “Drop It Down Low,” “Young Hearts,” “Boombox,” and of course “F.E.A.R.,” getting everyone up and moving! Next up was the return of Ape Drums, never failing to bring the hype with his energetic mic presence. We had our lovely Drai’s Dirty Dancers accompanying him on stage as well, playing hits “The Way We Do This,” “LFUTP,” “Bashment” and more, bringing a mix of his trap-inflected sounds for the partygoers! It was then a special B2B set with ETC!ETC! and JSTJR, telling everyone “Drai’s lemme see those hands up right now, let’s go!” The crowd certainly made a splash all around our sparkling pools, switching things up with some reggaeton and remixes to some of the hottest hits from the ’90s. It was then our 2018 Beachclub debut of electronic duo GTA, as our beautiful Drai’s Dolls got up on stage for some champagne showers as the beat dropped to the screaming fans! “Las Vegas how y’all doing right now?! One, two, three, let’s go!” as they started their set with “What We Tell Dem,” followed by rap remixes to “Antidote,” “rockstar,” “Booty (Remix)” and more! It was just insane from start to finish; who would’ve thought Thursdays would be this fun?! Good Times Ahead indeed!
We switched it up a bit for Friday, May 18th as we had Claude VonStroke’s 2018 debut alongside Green Velvet! Originally set to play separately, they decided last minute to give everyone a very special treat by playing B2B together as Get Real! The Dirtybird crowd was more than thrilled to hear this announcement, as the two performing together is a very rare occasion. The duo played their tracks “Mind Yo Bizness” and “Snuffaluffagus” to the amazement of fans, along with other exclusive mixes to keep the party going. They also took time to play some of their individual hits, with Claude bringing out hits “The Rain Break,” “Barrump,” “Make a Cake” and more, delivering the best in deep tech house. He also played his latest hit “Walay (My Bae)” for the first time at Drai’s Beachclub! Green Velvet’s set included his singles “Sauce,” “Shake N Pop,” “Flash” (by Eats Everything) and more, offering some of his minimal techno house sounds to the stage. It was officially a house party here for hours on end, whetting EDC fans’ appetites before heading up to the fest later that night! An incredible, rare treat given to us from Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet that probably won’t be seen again in awhile — you had to be here to Get Real!
Saturday was another jam-packed afternoon, with revelers grabbing their swimsuits to beat the heat to cool off from day 1 of EDC! 4B entertained partygoers first, playing EDM hits “Carnival,” “Love Is Dead” and one of this year’s most-played bangers “Whistle”! The energy was off the charts with drinks flowing, birthday celebrations, bachelor/bachelorette groups popping bottles, and people dancing and making a splash, excited about our stacked lineup! Electronic duo Zeds Dead came on after, beginning with “The Drop” followed by their single “Collapse.” “Las Vegas make some noise for yourselves!” Roaring cheers were heard all across the venue, continuing their performance with “Lights Go Down,” “Lost You,” “Journey of a Lifetime,” “You and I” and more! It was then time for the one and only Snails to come on stage, and when Snails comes on you know what that means… we had fans headbanging by the rails and all over the club, turning it up to another level! This called for some champagne showers from our Drai’s Dolls, already adding to the sun-soaked start to the weekend! He took things a step further with some dubstep tracks coming in, playing hits like “King Is Back,” “Frogbass,” “SLUGZ,” “Into the Light” and “Break It Down,” as well as throwing in some hardcore mixes for the crowd. One word to describe this day: INSANE!
Sunday was the official Fool’s Gold party here at Drai’s Beachclub, attracting enthusiasts of trap, dance, hip-hop and everything in between for some fun in the sun! First up from the Fool’s Gold lineup was KITTENS, playing singles “Cute,” “Nasty,” “Water Wet” and more to the delight of many. Next up was Anna Lunoe, asking EDC fans “if you’re happy to be alive make some noise!” Anna played some trap mixes to tracks from DJ Snake, N.E.R.D, Big Sean, Drake and more, keeping the good vibes going throughout the day. She went up on the front of stage to dance and greet her loyal fans, thanking everyone for coming out before ending her set! Last but not least was Fool’s Gold’s own A-Trak, as always delivering some of the best mixes to hip-hop and dance. The scratch king played chart-toppers like “Warriors,” “Alone,” “Powerglide,” “The Way Life Goes” and a lot more, with our mesmerizing Drai’s Dirty Dancers gracing the stage! Monday afternoon was the last day of EDC Week, and there was no better place to be that day as we started with British house duo CamelPhat, electronic duo Solardo and house/EDM DJ Will Clarke. Beachclub resident MK brought the house down with signature dance hits like “My Love 4 U,” “Piece of Me,” “Bring Me to Life,” and his latest single “17.” He kept his momentum going from his EDC set Friday to Monday, making for a memorable Monday afternoon for everyone reminiscing about the weekend!
