Migos’ ‘Culture’ Documentary Reflects on Their Come-Up
by DRAI’S / February 14, 2018
Atlanta rap trio and Drai’s residents Migos have just released a new documentary on their meteoric rise from their no. 1 debut album, Culture. With them recently tying The Beatles for the most simultaneous Billboard Hot 100 songs and Culture II bringing them another no. 1 in the charts, there’s no stopping these guys as they literally are running the culture. Migos teamed up with TIDAL for an official Culture documentary, and is narrated by their label Quality Control bosses Kevin Lee (Coach K) and Pierre “Pee” Thomas.
The documentary is a look back at their incredible journey leading up to the release of Culture to now, and how they became one of the most influential artists in the game today. The heart of it takes an intimate look at the group with cameras following them around New York City doing promo runs at Hot 97, being honored at NYU, and capping off the evening with a sold-out show at the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan. Both members and non-members of TIDAL can watch the 19-minute documentary in the source link below.
You can catch Migos’ next full-length performance Friday, March 16 at Drai’s Nightclub! Click here to purchase tickets.
