Drai’s Weekend Recap: Migos (3/16), DJ Pauly D and 2 Chainz + Trey Songz (3/17)

It was another spectacular weekend here at Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub… where do we even begin? Migos returned from last weekend to kick start the celebrations, DJ Pauly D came out for his Beachclub debut on St. Patrick’s Day, and later that night we had a historic 2 Chainz + Trey Songz performance! Plenty of special guests and surprise appearances came out to party as well: Mike Tyson; actor Michael B. Jordan; Cardinals teammates Kareem Martin, Deone Bucannon and Gabe Martin; former wide receiver Roddy White; Falcons wide receiver Marvin Hall; Drai’s Beachclub resident A-Trak; and much more! Here’s a recap to it all:

Migos kept their momentum going from their electrifying performance on March 10th, bringing out a slew of guests from the Strip for Friday night! Phones were up across the club as the rap trio got things started with “Higher We Go.” “All the Migos fans in Vegas say hell yeah!” From then on it was just hit after hit, with everyone singing along to “Slippery,” “Ice Tray,” “Deadz” and more. Migos’ official DJ Durel was behind the decks, amping the crowd up all evening: “On the count of three I want you to scream where you from! 1… 2… 3!” as fans from all over shouted their hometowns! Offset later said to the crowd “when I say raindrop, you say drop top!” going into “Bad and Boujee” followed by their latest single “Walk It Talk It.” Quavo then asked “if you wanna take a ride in the whip, can I get a skoo skoo?” as they closed it out to the smash hit “MotorSport”!

St. Patrick’s Day got started with DJ Pauly D’s debut at Drai’s Beachclub! Pauly brought his trademark good vibes and contagious energy to fans and partygoers alike throughout the day. “You realize you in Vegas right now?! What’s good Drai’s Beachclub my name is DJ Pauly D! Happy St. Paddy’s Day, let’s go!” Pauly played the hottest EDM remixes to countless hits like “Seven Nation Army,” “Bodak Yellow,” “Unforgettable” and “Gasolina,” bringing the party to the Las Vegas dayclub! “Who wanna be in my Snapchat right now?!” with the crowd cheering as Pauly D did some memorable stories. With bottles being popped and delicious food being served, DJ Pauly D getting everyone amped up, while college hoops were being played on the massive LED screens, there was no better way to spend St. Patrick’s Day than here at Drai’s Beachclub!

Later that night at Drai’s Nightclub was another sold out affair, with 2 Chainz and Trey Songz both performing together for the first time here! You could just feel the incredible energy from the crowd all night long, which definitely made for an evening to remember. Trey Songz came out first to perform, starting with “Na Na” into “Touchin, Lovin” to the colossal crowd. “Vegas what’s crackin’?!” he asked the excited fans, going into “Slow Motion” and other hits with Amadeus on drums. It was then 2 Chainz’s turn on the Drai’s LIVE stage, coming out to “No Problem” to the audience’s delight! “Shout out to all the out of towners in the building; if you from out of town make some noise!” 2 Chainz asked the already hyped up crowd. It was one club banger to another from Chainz and as if the night couldn’t get any better, Migos’ own and fellow Drai’s resident Quavo hops up on stage! Together they performed “Good Drank” followed by “Too Playa” off of Culture II to everyone’s surprise. The Black Panther himself Michael B. Jordan couldn’t help but join in on the fun with Trey Songz, 2 Chainz and Quavo up on the stageside VIP booth; it was a sight to behold! Trey Songz then came up to join Quavo, 2 Chainz and crew to close the night out with “It’s a Vibe,” “Say Aah,” “2 Reasons” and “Bottoms Up.” Three industry heavyweights on one stage here at Drai’s, crazy energy all evening, performing for a sold out crowd — this was definitely one for the books here at the rooftop nightclub in Las Vegas.

You can catch the return of Trey Songz for another special team-up appearance with Rae Sremmurd this Friday, March 23! 2 Chainz will also be coming back Saturday, April 7; we’ll see you all there!
