As we’ve previously reported back in January, Drai’s resident rapper Future has signed on to curate and produce the upcoming Superfly soundtrack, which is a remake to the 1972 Blaxpoitation crime drama. Future had the honors of sharing the first official trailer for the film through his Twitter: “Check out the @SuperflyMovie trailer featuring my new music 🔥🔥🔥 Catch #SUPERFLY in theaters this summer.” The trailer features a brand new track from the Freebandz general — looking to be another hit — as he raps on the hook “You can walk on minks baby, you can walk on minks.” In addition to the new banger, the trailer shows appearances from Rick Ross, Zaytoven, fellow Drai’s resident Big Boi, and more. In addition to taking charge of the music for Superfly, Future will be co-producing the film alongside Joel Silver, best known for producing the Lethal Weapon series and The Matrix trilogy.
